    1. Blogger blogs are nofollow by default, Google wont be happy if i make it dofollow. It also prevents my blog from being flooded with spam comments.

  14. This will not work as Google automatically excludes Digg and others including FaceBook profile pages and others as it knows people merely create a profile to add links to it. Be careful guys you might actually get into trouble.

    1. I guess you did not read the whole post. I have clearly pointed out the nofollow and dofollow sites, its not just about backlinks, its also the exposure your blog gets. Getting a backlink from these sites helps quickly index new content. I'm sure you haven't tried this method. Who says you may get into trouble? My blogs facebook page ranks on top of google search results.

  25. That was a good list of where to get backlinks. A combination of these strategies would really help in increasing the search rankings. But depending on the nature of our site these backlinks would sometimes help and sometimes wont. Many entrepreneurs make money without relying much on the search engines and therefore they don't really care what backlinks they get from the other sites.
But yes, a very informative post there.

    Thanks.
